Join me for a blissful hour of guided meditation, breathwork, mindful flow yoga and relaxation to leave you with a deep sense of peace and calm. The perfect way to carve out some time for yourself and put your wellbeing first.

I teach weekly in-person yoga classes on Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm, Wednesdays 6-7pm and Sundays 9:30-10:30am at Sheldon School Dance Studio in Chippenham. From 15th April, I’ll also be teaching a brand new class on Mondays 6-7pm at Chippenham Sports Club, which I can’t wait to share with you!

Scroll down for a look at the venues and some FAQs you might find helpful. All my classes are friendly, informal and suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Whether you’ve practiced yoga before or you’re brand new to it, I’d love to welcome you along… no experience or flexibility required! Modifications are provided where needed, as well as more challenging options for those looking to progress further.

Where I teach

On Mondays 6-7pm I teach in the main hall upstairs in Chippenham Sports Club.

On Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm, Wednesdays 6-7pm and Sundays 9:30-10:30am you’ll find me at Sheldon School Dance Studio.

Both spaces are airy and spacious with lots of natural light in the spring and summer months, and calming, ambient lighting through autumn and winter. In summer, we also have the option to take our practice outside onto the school field… the perfect combination of yoga, sunshine and nature!

 FAQs

  • You can book any yoga classes of your choice online here. You can book a ‘Drop In’ ticket for any number of individual classes, or you can buy a ‘Block Booking’ which books you onto every class in a term. Class dates included in a block booking are listed on my booking page.

To book, select the yoga class(es) you’d like to attend, scroll down and select the drop-in or block booking option on the right-hand side. Then click ‘View selections’, ‘Book now’ and continue from there. You will receive a confirmation email afterwards to confirm your booking.

If you haven’t booked online and would like to attend a class last minute, you’re welcome to turn up on the day and pay by cash.

  • My classes are generally a mixture of hatha yoga and vinyasa flow yoga. They include a series of mindful movements that are linked with the breath to create a sequence (vinyasa flow), as well as some still poses that are held for longer (hatha).

Classes are structured in a way that allows everyone to benefit, designed to help improve strength, flexibility, balance and posture. I also incorporate elements of mindfulness meditation, breathwork and relaxation.

I like to keep yoga classes accessible to all levels, offering modifications for beginners and more challenging options for those looking to progress further. I will always encourage you to listen to your body and move in a way that feels good for you.

  • Following Google Maps directions to ‘Chippenham Sports Club’ will take you to the turning that leads to the Sports Club from Bristol Road, not the building itself. You can park in the gravel car park on Bristol Road, the slope that leads up to the Sports Club, or the football club car park (signposted as you head up the slope). Once parked, follow the slope up a bit further to reach the Sports Club building. The location of the entrace on what3words is ///provide.pranced.ounce.

  • The easiest way is to search ‘Space to Balance’ on Google Maps, which will direct you right to the studio! Take a look at the location on Google Maps here. As you walk towards the school, the studio is one of the first buildings you come to, with ‘Dance Studio’ displayed on the outside wall in large letters. The studio’s location on what3words is ///yelled.play.awesome.

  • If you have booked a drop-in ticket for a class and cannot make it, I am happy to transfer your booking to another class of your choice within the same term, subject to availability. Drop-in bookings cannot be rolled over to the following term, except for where the class you cannot attend is the last class in the term. Please email me to request a transfer.

I am unable to transfer or refund classes included in block bookings, however I am happy for you to switch to another class in the same week to avoid missing classes. E.g. if you have a block booking for Tuesdays but can’t make one of the dates, you are welcome to switch to Wednesday instead that week. Please drop me an email to let me know in advance, so I can make sure there’s space.

Full Terms & Conditions can be found here.

  • If you’d like to attend a class that is fully booked, drop me an email to let me know which class(es) you’d like to attend, and I’ll let you know if and when a space becomes available (for example due to cancellation or illness).

  • Yes of course! Yoga classes are open to all abilities and can be tailored to suit all levels, including beginners. Go on… you’ll be glad you did!

  • Wear something comfortable and easy to move about in, such as a top and leggings/shorts.

  • All you need to bring is a yoga mat. You don’t need any other equipment, though you’re welcome to bring any other props you might like to use. You might also like to bring some water, a warmer layer and maybe a blanket for our relaxation towards the end of class. I have a spare yoga mat for anyone who doesn’t yet have their own.

  • Please arrive at least five minutes before the start of class and ensure your mobile phone is switched to silent or turned off. Yoga is usually practiced barefoot and shoes should be removed before entering the studio.

  • It is not recommended to attend yoga classes during your first trimester, however you are welcome to attend during your second trimester. I am not a qualified pregnancy yoga teacher but am able to provide adaptions to ensure the class is accessible for you. Please note that attendance is at your own risk and you should only do what feels appropriate and comfortable for you and your body. If you’d like to discuss this more, please drop me an email and I’ll be happy to help.
